"Tieria leans down, resting his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath."
Tieria leans down, resting his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. It's hard to run on the wet grass and his shoes keep slipping, making him constantly stumble and fall over. His team uniform is soiled so thoroughly it's almost impossible to tell its colour and he hates the feeling of muddy water running down his legs, ruining his socks.
Suddenly Lockon is there beside him, equally breathless and if possible, even more muddy, but smiling widely as he shakes the water out of his hair. "Hey gorgeous", he greets Tieria. "How are we doing?"
Tieria growls under his breath, and Lockon can't quite stop himself from chuckling at the purple-haired boy's disgruntled expression. "I hate playing in the rain."
"I know", the Irishman laughs, patting Tieria affectionately on the back. "But hey, at least we're winning."
The purple-haired boy lets out a cynical sigh, bringing one hand up to sweep his wet fringe out of his eyes. "At least."
"So cheer up, hey!", Lockon says cheerfully, mussing Tieria's wet, purple locks and slapping him playfully on the buttocks before running off with an impish wink.
Rolling his eyes, Tieria glares briefly after Lockon, muttering something about idiots, before bending down to pull up his soggy knee-socks and then running back after the ball.
